How do I join, and what devices are supported?
We're preparing the founding iPhone pilot: 100 places, selected participants receive one year free with no automatic conversion to a paid subscription. Join the waitlist for selection and access updates — joining does not guarantee a place. Android timing will be shared when confirmed; join the Android updates list to hear first.
How do I record a usable swing video?
Position your phone 10-15 feet away at chest height, with your full body visible in frame. Choose Down-the-Line (camera behind you, aligned with the target line) or Face-On (camera facing you) in the app before recording. Good, even lighting improves analysis quality.
How accurate is the AI analysis, and what should I do if it fails?
SwingMatch AI provides video-based coaching suggestions using pose/wireframe estimation, not a professional biomechanical assessment. Camera position, lighting and what's visible affect the result, so treat feedback as guidance to discuss and test in practice rather than a precise measurement. If an upload or analysis fails, you can safely retry — failed attempts don't consume your trial or pilot allowance.
How is my footage and written context used, and can I turn the coach off?
Your videos are stored on Google Cloud Storage and processed by Google Vertex AI for analysis and coaching; they are not sold or shared for third-party marketing. Optional shot notes and coach check-ins can be switched off at any time — manual notes and coaching remain available either way. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-processing detail.
What does membership cost, and how is the pilot different?
Selected founding-pilot participants receive one year free, with no automatic conversion to a paid subscription. Outside the pilot, a 14-day trial with up to 6 analyses is available, and planned standard membership is $14.99/month or $78.99/year in the US (paid upfront), or £59.99/year in the UK. Use Restore Purchases on the membership screen if a purchase doesn't unlock automatically; cancel any time from your device's subscription settings.
Can I change the interface language?
Yes. The app interface is available in 12 languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Thai, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and Norwegian, changeable any time from the Profile tab. Written pro discovery and coach replies are currently generated in English.
How do I export or delete my data?
Export: Profile → Export My Data downloads a JSON copy of your account, including saved goals, shot notes and coaching conversations, via your device's save/share sheet.
Delete in the app: Profile → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account → confirm → type DELETE. This schedules removal of your profile, videos, analyses, coaching history and account; deletion completes within 30 days.
